Affiliated Workers Association Disability Income Protection
The Affiliated Workers' DI program, underwritten by Colonial, replaces a portion of your income if you become disabled because of a covered accident or a covered sickness. This income can help you continue paying: Mortgage, rent, car & truck payments as well as Utility bills, other household expenses, co-payments.
When a loss of income occurs; food, clothing and other necessities are still needed. The AWA disability income plan provides the protection needed to maintain your lifestyle.
Income payments are paid regardless of any other insurance you may have with other insurance companies. Benefits are paid directly to you, unless you specify otherwise. You may choose the amount of your disability benefits to meet your needs, subject to income. Your coverage is guaranteed renewable to age 70. If you change jobs, you can take your coverage with you. You are also covered worldwide for up to 60 days. Waiver of Premium is included.
